Angle: The space between two intersecting lines or surfaces at or close to the point where they meet.
Angles is usually measured in degrees. It’s also defined as the amount of turn around the intersecting point of two lines.
Types of angles: there are 6 types of angles:
Acute angle: An angle which is less than \(\mathbf{90}°\) is called acute angle.
Right angle: an angle which is of \(\mathbf{90}°\), is called a right angle.
Obtuse angle: an angle which is greater than \(\mathbf{90}°\), is called obtuse angle.
Straight angle: an angle of \(\mathbf{180}°\), is called straight angle.
Reflex angle: an angle which is greater than \(\mathbf{180}°\) and less than \(\mathbf{360}°\) is called reflex angle.
Complete angle: an angle of \(\mathbf{360}°\), is called complete angle.
Note: 1. The red point is the point of intersection
2. the arrow-head on the arc tells the direction of angle/sweep.
